Red, White & Boom
Red, White and Boom will be Friday evening, July 02, 2010. Rainout date will be July 03, 2010
The swimming pool will have Free Swim from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Personal fireworks are prohibited during the Red, White and Boom festivities.
Schedule of Events:
4-6 p.m. - Free Swim - Spirit of 76 Pool
6:00 p.m. - Red, White & Boom Concessions (hot dogs, sandwiches, chips, snacks, soft drinks)*
Information Booth (event info / give-a-ways)
Free National Guard Activities
6:45 p.m.- Flag Presentation - MO National Guard
Star Spangle Banner - Catherine James
7:00 p.m.- Entertainment - Short Notice Band
9:30 p.m.- Fireworks Display (Concessions & Information Booth Close)
*Procees go to fund Red, White & Boom
Red, White & BOOM is free and open to the public. We invite you to come early, bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and get a good spot. The Spirit of 76 Park will be the best place for viewing the entertainment and all the spectacular firework effects. Picnic tables will be set at the tennis court area and the event will be a great place to hold family or class reunions. *Food, soft drinks, glow necklaces, glow bracelets & glow stars available for sale at the Concession Stand as supplies last. *Proceeds from concession stand help fund future Red, White and Boom events.
No pets allowed. Personal Fireworks and alcohol are prohibited.
Handicapped Parking will be at the John Taylor Senior Center. A shuttle for Handicapped Only Parking will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Handicapped Permit required for Handicapped Parking. Free parking is available in the Spirit of 76 Park Parking Area. Additional free parking is available on the square. VIP Parking closes at 8:30 p.m...
Concession Stand, Information Booth and National Guard activities will close when fireworks begin.
