Designation of Ward Three
Ward Number Three shall be composed of all that portion of the corporate limits of the City of Mount Vernon, Missouri, lying and situated east of Ward Number Two and south of a line described as follows, to wit: Beginning at a point on the intersection of the centerline of Cherry Street and the centerline of Main Street; thence in an easterly direction along said centerline of Cherry Street to a point intersecting with the south right-of-way line of Kings Street property; thence in an easterly direction along said south right-of-way line, and a continuation thereof, to the east boundary line of the City of Mount Vernon, Missouri.

Ward Three Representatives
Biography: Barbara Rubison is a resident of Mount Vernon for the past 45 years and a graduate of Mount Vernon High School. Served as Mount Vernon City Treasurer from 1971 through 1991 and from 2005 through 2008. (This position was a part time position during these tenures)

Charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon, presently serving as Secretary-Treasurer. Employed by First Savings for 33 years, retiring in 1999.

Currently enjoying retirement, church activities, some traveling and camping.

Barbara was appointed by the Mayor in November 2011

Biography: Gary Albers has been a resident of Mt. Vernon for 30 years, he and his wife Cindy have 6 children.

Mr. Albers is a Self-Employed architectural draftsman and has worked in the construction industry for 26 years.

Mr. Albers was elected to the Board of Aldermen in April 2009. He has previously served on the Planning and Zoning Committee and the Board of Adjustment.
