Martha is a teacher in Greenfield. They have one son, Eric, a 1991 MVHS graduate. Eric currently lives and works in Washington D.C. Mayor Eden is a 1969 graduate of Parkwood High School in Joplin, MO. He received a Bachelor of Science from Missouri Southern State College in Joplin in 1973. Mayor Eden graduated in 1978 from University of Missouri in Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Since graduation, he worked for McShane Drug in Mt. Vernon until 2002. Mayor Eden currently works for the Missouri Rehabilitation Center as a pharmacist. Mayor Eden was previously a Board of Alderman member from 2000 until his election as Mayor in April of 2004. During his time as an Alderman, he also served on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
